Attorney Profiles
Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, David met Janice, a San Marcos native, in law school in
Arkansas. After graduating, David and Janice were married in nearby Driftwood, Texas
in August of 2008. Two years later, Janice finally persuaded David that her hometown
was the right place to open a new law firm, and the rest is history. David is licensed to
practice in all Texas courts, and is a member of the National Association of Criminal
Defense Lawyers and the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. He is also a
proud member of the College of the State Bar of Texas, an honor bestowed on less than
10% of Texas attorneys reflecting his firm commitment to continuing legal education.
When not hard at work on his clients' cases, he enjoys playing and watching sports,
volunteering, and most of all spending time with his wife and beautiful new baby girl
Adelaide.

Janice was born and raised in San Marcos. She is a graduate of San Marcos High School
(go Rattlers!). She went on to graduate cum laude from Hendrix College in Conway,
Arkansas with a B.A. in Politics. She met David while working toward her J.D.at the
University of Arkansas School of Law. During law school, Janice served as a Note &
Comment Editor on the Arkansas Law Review and President of Phi Alpha Delta Law
Fraternity. In addition to helping David in the law office, Janice is a part-time Municipal
Judge in a small town near San Marcos and a full-time mom.
