Meet Daniella M. Garcia
Associate Attorney Daniella M. Garcia was born in Austin and raised in Houston, but she knows Hays County well through her work and her family’s ties to the San Marcos area. She is a former prosecutor who has handled criminal cases from both sides of the courtroom. Daniella is a graduate of Texas State University and the Thurgood Marshall School of Law.
Legal Experience You Can Count On
Before coming to the Law Offices of David C. Hardaway, Daniella was an Assistant Criminal District Attorney with the Hays County Criminal District Attorney’s Office, where she gained her trial experience handling adult misdemeanor cases, juvenile cases, and presented cases to grand juries. She was also a prosecutor with the Bexar County Criminal District Attorney’s Office, where she prepared misdemeanor cases, felony cases, and all degrees of drug cases.
Daniella’s first legal experience was as a volunteer with the Travis County District Attorney’s Office in 2002 and 2003. She first joined the Hays County Criminal District Attorney’s Office in 2007 as a legal assistant, and while in law school, she served that office as a student attorney and intake intern.
Immediately after law school, Daniella briefly served as an intern with the Bastrop County Criminal District Attorney’s Office. Daniella was also a student attorney at the Thurgood Marshall School of Law Criminal Legal Clinic in 2012 and 2013.
