Lesly Guillen Magana
Bio
Lesly was born in Mexico and raised in the culturally diverse city of Houston, Texas. From a young age she knew that her version of “changing the world” would involve standing in front of a courtroom advocating for her community. Before starting law school, Lesly discovered her passion for helping families and domestic violence survivors while working as a legal assistant at a family law firm. Getting to speak for those who felt they had no voice drove her to pursue a career in family law, later adding immigration law to that list. She uses her background and life experiences to better connect with and advocate for every one of her clients. She prides herself in finding creative solutions to life’s difficult problems.
Outside of work, she is an avid hobby collector. “I could probably do that myself” is her favorite phrase. And she will. When she’s not adding to her CVS receipt list of hobbies, you can find her on the dancefloor of your local honky tonk, or taking her two four-legged children (“Cody” named after Cody Johnson and “George” named after George Strait) out to for a stroll.
